I’m happy to announce our latest product specifically for Beechcraft T34 owners
In an emergency, the front and rear sliding canopy sections can be jettisoned by pulling the emergency release handle. A potential water leakage point exists where the canopy rails attach to the fuselage.
Twelve attach points connect to release hooks inside the fuselage. The holes at these attach points are sealed with foam rubber gaskets. These gaskets are no longer manufactured by Beechcraft. While a few NOS (New Old Stock) gaskets are available, they are decades old, in short supply and quite expensive.
To address this situation, I am selling “replica” gaskets. They are die cut from the same MIL SPEC material and the same dimensions as the originals, with peel and stick adhesive. They are “replicas” because they are NOT FAA APPROVED under a Parts Manufacturing Authority (PMA). It will be up to the aircraft owner and their mechanic to decide if they are a suitable replacement. I am confident they will perform as well as, or better, than the originals.
Like all my products, I offer a ninety-day no-excuses refund (less shipping and credit card fees), if you decide you don’t like them.
They are priced at $12.00 each (compared to $43.00 each for NOS), or a set of thirteen (1 spare) for $130.00, plus shipping.
